1. Our Core Privacy Promise

Weaver was built with your privacy in mind. Unlike cloud-based AI tools, after an initial license activation and a one-time download of the AI language models, Weaver processes all audio, transcriptions, and summaries entirely locally on your machine. We do not have access to your audio files, your transcripts, or your generated summaries. They never leave your computer.

2. Information We Collect

While the app operates offline, we do collect minimal information necessary to process your purchase and prevent piracy:

• Purchase Data: When you buy Weaver, our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) collects your name, email address, and billing information. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.
• Licensing Data: To activate your software, Weaver generates a unique Hardware ID based on your computer. This ID is paired with your License Key to lock the software to your machine. We do not collect personal files, browsing history, or system data.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. They handle the checkout process, tax compliance, and license key generation. You can view Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy on their website.

4. Data Security

Your local license file is protected and tied securely to your hardware to prevent unauthorized sharing. Because your transcription data remains entirely on your hard drive, the security of those files relies on your own computer's security measures.
