Welcome to Weaver! By purchasing, downloading, or using the Weaver software ("Software") available at weaverapp.co.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Weaver on a single computer. Your License Key is tied to your specific Hardware ID.

2. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. They handle customer service inquiries relating to payment, card processing, and taxes.

3. System Requirements and Performance

Weaver operates completely offline, which means the speed and performance of the Software depend entirely on your computer's hardware. By purchasing the Software, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the minimum system requirements. We are not responsible for slow transcription times or software crashes resulting from the use of unsupported or underpowered hardware.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• Share, sell, or distribute your License Key to third parties.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary licensing logic of the Software.
• Use the Software to facilitate illegal activities.

5. Disclaimer regarding AI Accuracy

Weaver utilizes advanced local AI models to transcribe and summarize audio. While highly accurate, Artificial Intelligence is prone to errors, omissions, and "hallucinations."

• You acknowledge that transcripts and summaries may contain inaccuracies.
• Weaver is designed as a productivity aid, not a replacement for human verification.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of any transcripts or summaries generated by the Software before using them for legal, medical, financial, or official business purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weaver Software and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Software.

7. Updates and Support

Your purchase includes the current major version of Weaver (v1.x). We may provide minor updates and bug fixes at our discretion.
